Weather: Hot and Sunny
Feeling: Accomplished
Today I thought it would be a good idea to get on with my summer list early, therefore I decided to paint the fence out the front. This means that number 3 on my list is half done already and we're only 1 day into the holidays. I haven't really done much else today because I got very sun burnt, even though I put sun cream on, and my freckles are very exaggerated now.
The painting didn't take too long but because I'm have sensitive and fair skin I burn very easily. The fence looks so much better now though, so I'm very pleased with myself and my parents seem happy, which is nice to know.
Losing Weight:
Breakfast: Small bowl of high bran, with a handful of sultanas and some semi-skimmed milk.
Lunch: 75g penne pasta with peas, sweetcorn and a tablespoon of light mayonnaise
Dinner: 3 tablespoons cooked Basmati rice with homemade chicken curry
Snacks: After dinner I had a mini Twister ice cream.
I think I did quite well today, I know the snack I had wasn't healthy but I enjoyed it, plus it was hot so I wanted something that would cool me down. The portion sizes were smaller and I did feel better for eating breakfast, which I think allowed me to work more efficiently on the fence, otherwise I would have been snacking throughout the morning on bad foods. I didn't drink as much as I should have done in this heat because I have a headache now but it's my fault for not drinking enough, but I will drink more in future, remembering how i feel now.
Tomorrow, I'm planning on driving to my Nan's to help her clear her house a bit. There are two things that Nan would like me to sort out first of all. She was explaining how her cupboard under the sink needs sorting through (in my opinion getting rid of things is more what needs to happen) but then she also wants me to help her go through her wardrobe to sort it out because she doesn't know what she has in there.
